OUR CAPABILITY

Gain Green Development Sdn Bhd (Gain Green Development) is a leading plant biotechnology company specializing in large-scale tissue culture plant production for agriculture, forestry and horticulture industry. Besides that, the Company is involved in custom propagation projects for domestic and international markets of new and difficult to propagate plant varieties. The Company takes the utmost care to every stage of the tissue culture process, from initiation, to multiplication, root formation, and hardening.

The plants are matured in a laboratory and transplanted to the greenhouses, with contamination-free, sterile conditions, proper and adequate acclimatization. They are developed to be guaranteed disease-free, which makes them affordable for the customers.

WHAT IS

TISSUE CULTURE ?

Tissue culture technology is the process of cultivating tissues and plant cells, using a special formula for plant regeneration and mass reproduction. This technology allows growers to grow exact copies of plants without seeds and reproduce their harvest faster and with superior quality, at a lower cost than other alternatives.

WHY

TISSUE CULTURE ?

The demand for food has been increasing tremendously, and the global market is more and more relying on plants to provide stable food supplies. It is an important technology, especially for developing countries, as tissue cultures’ value proposition grows rapidly. The tissue culture technology produces high-quality planting material, disease-free in a short period.

Tissue Culture Protocol Development Process

Initiation
This is the first phase of the tissue culture process, where the R&D team takes a meristem (growth center/growth point) and sterilizes it to prevent any bacteria or fungi from negatively affecting the process. Liquid broth tests are used to ensure that plant materials are meticulously and completely clean once the plant is established in the culture.
Initiation
Multiplication
During the second tissue culture phase, specialized protocols are used to produce as many plants as possible within the shortest period while protecting the plant material's integrity and genetic stability.
Multiplication
Rooting
As rooting is the most difficult phase of the tissue culture process, Gain Green Development established a special rooting media to ensure healthy disease-free plants.
Rooting
Hardening
This phase is when the tissue culture plants are transferred and habituated to grow in specialized hardening facilities, which gradually harden the plants to ensure success in Gain Green Development greenhouses.
